eLottery Review

This is an elottery review published by a player and affiliate of the VWD eLottery syndicate system.

eLottery is a way to play the UK National Lottery and Euromillions online as part of a syndicate. The idea is that your odds of winning in both draws is greatly increased from the odds as a player buying tickets yourself.

To balance my review with other unsolicited reviews of eLottery, I invite you to submit your review using the comment form below. Then your review, subject to approval, will appear below this one and others.

My experience of eLottery

I joined in August 2005 and have never regretted joining. I joined as an affiliate member and joined both the Lotto and Euromillions syndicates. The claim that it is effectively free to play after introducing 5 other players to each syndicate was a big incentive for me.

It took me just a few weeks to find 5 players and since then I have gone well beyond playing for free and actually made monthly profits from the £1 a week commissions I receive for each game played by people I referred.

I actually focus on introducing players, and most of the people I have introduced have stayed in the syndicates for months and in some cases years, so they are obviously happy to play for the full price week on week.

There is no commitment to play a minimum number of games. It’s possible to participate in one draw and then cancel, no questions asked. But I have found it rare for people that I introduced to do this.

Winnings

So have I won any jackpots? Well, unfortunately no! But I never won anything beyond a single tenner in the National Lottery when I bought my own tickets. But with eLottery, at least I have had many small wins over the years that do add up.

To be honest, my winnings have been nothing to shout about, but since I am playing for free anyway, I can hardly complain. The big wins are what we are really waiting for and these are more likely playing via the eLottery syndicate.

The highest win that I am aware of by an eLottery syndicate is around £171,000

Cost of Entry

Given that the syndicate numbers are entered 88 times a week into the Lottery and 36 times a week into Euromillions, I think the entry fee of £5 per week per syndicate is very reasonable. Playing yourself for this amount only lets you enter 10 lines of numbers per week.

Chances of Winning

As you know, the chances of winning a lottery jackpot are slim, but the more lines of numbers you enter the better. This is where elottery wins with up to 124 lines of numbers entered each week. This also means the chances of you winning small prizes is much greater.

Credibility

eLottery is a member of the UK Lottery Council, an organisation representing the interests of various companies and other bodies engaged in lawful lottery-related activities. Also, they support GamCare, an organization which provides support, information and advice to anyone suffering a gambling problem.

History: eLottery was established in 2002 and is still going strong after nearly 6 years of doing business.

Conclusion

eLottery is a viable way to participate in the UK National Lottery and Euromillions draws for a comparable spend but with a much greater chance to win over buying tickets direct.
